Plot

Nestled in the heart of New York City, a love story unfolds in the most unconventional setting—a farewell party. Syd, an individual ravaged by his addictions, finds himself trapped in the throes of a passion that has not diminished even after his girlfriend, London, ended their two-year affair six months ago. Now, London is on the brink of departing for Los Angeles to start anew with her latest lover. Upon discovering that London's friend Rebecca is hosting a farewell party in her parents' grand, luxuriously spacious condo, Syd, unable to quell his lingering obsession, decides to infiltrate the gathering. His unexpected accomplice in this mission? Bateman, a newly met acquaintance who shares Syd's drug dealer and is on the lookout for a pristine location to indulge in their substantial stash of cocaine. Their entrance doesn't sit comfortably with Rebecca, who views Syd as a perilous relic of London's past. As the party throbs downstairs, Syd and Bateman retreat to the condo's opulent upstairs bathroom, a room rivaling the size of an average apartment. This becomes their sanctuary, a place to dive into their drug-fueled escapades, joined intermittently by other party-goers. In the echoing confines of the bathroom, Syd battles the mounting anxiety of confronting London, a task made exponentially challenging by his muddled mind. The bathroom transforms into a stage for candid discussions about love, sex, philosophy, and karma: conversations often as intoxicating as the substances they consume. These dialogues stir poignant memories of Syd's time with London, prompting a painful realization—he never expressed his love for her, despite her multiple requests. Simultaneously, Bateman, under the influence of the potent white powder, reveals his struggles with impotence, creating an unusual bond between the two men. As time slips away, Bateman finally convinces Syd to confront his past and speak to London. But with her departure imminent, will Syd's confession change her mind? Or will it simply release him from the chains of his obsession? The answers lie in the heart of a farewell party, at the intersection of love, addiction, and unspoken words.
