Plot

Once a part of a prominent research firm, entomologist Colt finds himself disentangling from the ruthless grasp of his ex-lover Vicky's father, Russ, and his unscrupulous partner, Gary. Seeking to restore his scientific integrity and ethical purity, he steps away only to be drawn back into a world of horrifying danger. A series of grotesque incidents paint a chilling picture - bodies found bearing eerie bite marks that, upon inspection, are revealed to be the sinister handiwork of genetically manipulated locusts. These aren't your typical pests; they're the result of top-secret lab experiments gone awry, transforming harmless locusts into monstrous creatures that consume human flesh. As the swarm breaks free, terror takes flight. With the potential to endanger millions across Northern America, the locusts' insatiable hunger threatens to consume the world. Caught in the crosshairs of this ecological nightmare, Colt finds an unlikely ally in Vicky, now a dedicated public health official. Together, they delve into the heart of the crisis, piecing together a puzzle of scientific intrigue and biological terror. Armed with their findings, they spearhead a team set on a heroic, albeit daunting task - stopping the horrific locust swarm from spreading further. As they venture into a fight that may seem hopelessly grim, their courage and determination become humanity's last line of defense against a plague of biblical proportions.
