In a pastoral world of mysticism and mischief, young Alan and his companion Becky pilfer a chilling wooden chest, secretively housing a potent voodoo wand, from their eccentric neighbor dabbling in the arcane arts. When Alan sketches with this mystical stick, it triggers a serpent attack, leading to the inexplicable disappearance of his intoxicated father. The passage of time sees Alan and Becky bound by the ties of matrimony. During a poignant moment of planting flowers to commemorate the death of Alan's mother, Becky unearths the long-forgotten box from the garden, subtly slipping the wand into her pocket. Concurrently, a quintet of thrill-seeking friends embark on a joyride in a monstrous truck, their laughter echoing over the clinking beer bottles. The driver, his judgement blurred, fatally strikes Becky, mistaking her for a mere roadkill. Witnessing this gruesome hit-and-run and cradling his lifeless wife, a vengeful Alan wields the serpent-summoning stick, setting his sights on the unsuspecting youngsters for a reckoning they could never foresee.
