Plot

In the pulsating heart of Ikebukuro West Gate Park, a notorious hotbed of youthful rebellion and gangland turmoil, resides the astute Makoto. This vibrant neighborhood, alive with the clashing echoes of rival gangs, is both his home and the stage for his complex life. Makoto's best friend from high school, Takeshi, has ascended to the infamous throne as the leader of the G-Boys, one of the area's most formidable gangs. Despite the pressure, Makoto staunchly resists joining the fray, though his reputation for toughness and wit is well-known. Makoto inadvertently becomes a reluctant detective when he is thrust into the grim mystery of a friend's death. His keen intellect and street-smart savvy guide him through the twisting labyrinth of clues, as he becomes the unexpected problem-solver for the diverse inhabitants of IWGP. As he delves deeper, the drumbeat of gang rivalry intensifies, with his best friend's gang, the G-Boys, locking horns with a menacing new gang, the 'Black Angels'. This tale paints an intricate portrait of Makoto's life, which is inextricably woven into the complex tapestry of Ikebukuro West Gate Park, a place where alliances are fragile, and survival is an art of navigation through the intricate web of gang politics.
