Plot

In the sun-drenched landscape of southern France, political aspirant Agathe Villanova (Agnes Jaoui), returns to her childhood home, drawn back by the untimely demise of her mother. As Agathe and her sister Florence (Pascale Arbillot) sift through remnants of their past, Karim (Jamel Debbouze), the son of their family maid, seizes the opportunity to delve into Agathe's life for his documentary on triumphant women. His partner in this endeavor, Michel (Jean-Pierre Bacri), a film school teacher, harbors hidden motives, tangled in a clandestine affair with Florence and a desperate bid to convince her to abandon her marital life. Simultaneously, Karim's seemingly stable life teeters on the brink of upheaval as a charming hotel co-worker (Florence Loiret-Caille) unveils her romantic interest in him. "Let It Rain" is a subtle tapestry of intertwined lives, ambition, and concealed desires - a testament to the complexities of human relationships set against the backdrop of a serene provincial life.
