Emerging from the shadowy confines of prison with vengeance in his heart, the recently liberated burglar, Maurice Faugel, is yet again under the relentless pursuit of the law following a robbery that was meant to be swift and uncomplicated. Suddenly, all evidences ominously point towards his erstwhile comrade and fellow miscreant, Silien—a ruthless gangster known for his icy demeanor and untrustworthy reputation. But did Silien truly betray Faugel, or is there more than what meets the eye? In the unforgiving labyrinth of Paris's criminal underbelly, where the line between life and death is drawn by a web of lies, Silien appears determined to salvage his damaged reputation, albeit in his own convoluted manner.
