Volver (2006)

Despite the struggles and horrible relationships they've been through, sisters Sole and Raimunda have managed to stay strong in solidarity with one another. But the two are continuing to struggle with the recent death of their mother. Raimunda's husband is an abusive drink, and Sole has to manage a secret job as a married woman who's separated from her husband. They initially believe their aunt is speaking rhetorically when she discusses their mother in the present tense, but it appears there are magical forces at work. Could their mother be still out there trying to help the two sisters heal their hearts?
