Last Love Lost (2015)

Emerging from the shadows of a year and a half long coma, Antonio (Jahmar Hill) is haunted by the harrowing truth of his past. He awakens to a world where his mother was murdered by his father, who in turn, ended his own life. The echo of the gunshot that put him in the coma reverberates in Antonio's mind as he grapples with the reality of his grim solitude. Stripped of a place to call home, he seeks solace in the frosty embrace of New York's unforgiving streets. Antonio's life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Vanessa (Toni Belafonte), a stranger trapped in the clutches of an abusive relationship with her boyfriend, Streetz (Talli Clemons). In Vanessa, Antonio finds a beacon of hope, a chance to rewrite his destiny. He morphs into her knight in shining armor, stepping into the fray to defend her from the storm of her turbulent relationship. Just as Antonio fights for Vanessa, he battles his own demons, all set in the gritty underbelly of the city that never sleeps.
