Plot

In the historic city of Amboise, amidst the mellifluous strains of a music festival at the Clos Lucé, a sinister secret unfolds. A young virtuoso pianist is discovered lifeless, his body eerily emulating Leonardo De Vinci's renowned illustration, the "Vitruvian Man." The macabre tableau sparks an intense investigation led by the steadfast Captain Alban Dutertre of the Orléans research section and the relentless Lieutenant Bérénice Amarillo of the Amboise gendarmerie. A chilling series of murders soon follow, each grim scene a haunting tribute to the artistry of the legendary Leonardo De Vinci. The detectives find themselves plunged into a dark labyrinth of mystery, where art and death intertwine in a morbid dance. As they strive to unravel the enigma, a missing thread in their tapestry of clues emerges: Cecilia Rossi, a young woman lost to time for three months, her body chillingly revealed within their search. A short distance from DaVinci's eternal resting place, another victim, a violinist, is found in a similarly ghastly display, adding another layer to the intricate puzzle. Captains Dutertre and Amarillo must navigate through this intricate web of art, death, and deception. As they delve deeper into the heart of the mystery, they must decipher the cryptic messages left by a murderer who appears to be not only a ruthless killer but also a dedicated disciple of Da Vinci. Each gruesome tableau brings them closer to the truth, illuminating the dark corners of their historic city, and revealing a murderer's chilling tribute to forgotten beauty.
