Kohram (1999)

In the explosive world of military and political intrigue, Major Balbir Singh Sodhi (Amitabh Bachchan) is a soldier on a dangerous mission. After a failed attempt to assassinate India's Home Minister, Veer Bhadra Singh (Danny Denzongpa), he's forced into the underground, adopting the alias of Devraj Hathoda, also known as Dadabhai. The army, determined to bring him to justice, assigns the astute Major Ajit Arya (Nana Patekar) to unmask Balbir's new identity. As Arya navigates the shadowy labyrinth of deceit, he successfully baits Balbir into revealing his true persona. Yet, instead of capturing him, Arya finds himself drawn into Balbir's complex web of motives behind his dangerous attempts on the Home Minister's life. This unexpected revelation prompts Arya to join forces with Balbir, aiming to uncover the grimy truth that lurks beneath the Minister's polished facade. Meanwhile, the ominous announcement from the terrorist, Ghafoor Changezi, threatens the peaceful pilgrimage to the sacred shrine of Mata Sheravali during the Navratri Fest. Seeing an opportunity for increased popularity, the Home Minister takes up the challenge against Changezi. Oblivious to the fact that their enemy's agendas align, Balbir and Arya prepare to face the looming terror. Unraveling the sinister plots and combating the menacing threats, they are plunged into a maelly of deception and danger that threatens to shake the very foundation of their beliefs.
