In the eerie setting of a mortuary, a peculiar family resides - John Bradley, his wife Martha, and their eccentric daughter, Susan, whose fascination with tarantula spiders sets her apart from her peers. Susan's peculiarities make her the subject of relentless jeers from her classmates, pushing her further into her solitary world of arachnids. When Susan uncovers a sinister plot by her mother and her uncle, her father's brother, to murder her beloved father, she retaliates in the only way she knows - with her eight-legged friends. A tarantula left in the bed of the scheming mother results in a fatal heart attack, a shocking incident that pushes Susan further into the shadows of her strange obsessions. As a teenager, Susan's retaliation grows darker, her tarantulas becoming instruments of terror against the classmates who have tormented her relentlessly. Yet, Susan's vengeance doesn't end there. The mortuary, once her father's domain, morphs into the perfect backdrop for her disturbing games, her creepy little companions ever at her side.
