Plot

In the sultry heartland of Louisiana, an embittered soldier, fresh from the horrors of Vietnam, discovers an unforgivable betrayal. His wife, tangled in the arms of her lover, becomes the first victim of his wrath, with a pair of unsuspecting friends falling prey next. Yet, in an ironic twist of fate, the soldier's bloody vengeance is halted by a savage bird attack, leaving him sightless. This tormented veteran transforms into Dr. Fred Brown, a reclusive ornithologist, his life now devoted to the winged creatures that robbed him of his vision. Years later, the echoes of these brutal murders have faded into whispers, the bodies remain undiscovered, and the dreadful swamp house stands as a silent monument to the past's cruel deeds. Now, a group of ambitious college students seeking to study an endangered species of woodpecker venture into these eerie surroundings. They seek guidance from the enigmatic Dr. Brown, unknowingly wandering closer to the haunting remnants of his violent history. Drawn to the derelict house in the swamp, the students unwisely choose to set up camp within its decaying walls. As the night descends, the swamp begins to stir with an ominous energy, and they find themselves entwined in a chilling dance of survival. Unbeknownst to them, the house harbors more than just traumatic memories; it is prowled by murderous zombies, inexplicably linked to the blind bird specialist. Killing Birds spins a gripping tale of betrayal, vengeance, and survival, where the past refuses to be buried and the innocent pay the price. The swamp's eerie silence is broken by the sound of beating wings and the walking dead, making it a thrilling journey you won't forget.
