Plot

In the heart of the Pacific, a motley crew of construction workers discover an immovable, enormous blue rock while developing an airstrip on a secluded island. This enigmatic stone, unbeknownst to them, is a cosmic interloper - a meteorite that has plummeted to Earth, as witnessed in the movie's opening panorama. An attempt to dislodge it with a mighty Cat D9 bulldozer triggers a spectacular blue light, rendering the machine lifeless. The rock, however, is far from inert. It harbors an ancient, non-corporeal lifeform that has slumbered for eons in the ruins of a long-forgotten temple. Revived from its ageless sleep, this malevolent entity seizes control of the seemingly defunct bulldozer. In the eerie solitude of the island, the Cat D9 springs to life with a terrifying autonomy, turning from a tool of creation into an instrument of destruction. One by one, the workers find themselves in the deadly crosshairs of the possessed machine. As an unearthly terror unfolds, the island becomes a treacherous battleground, where man and machine collide in a chilling dance of survival. Killdozer (1974) weaves a story of unearthly terror and human resilience, where ordinary men are pitted against an ancient evil in the guise of the familiar and mundane. The isolated island setting amplifies the creeping dread, making this movie a must-watch for those who relish a blend of science fiction and horror.
