Plot

In the bustling heart of Kolkata, Sheela Bhowmik, wife of a successful filmmaker, Raja, grapples with feelings of isolation and neglect. Tired of her husband's constant preoccupation with his work, she seeks solace in the peaceful company of her friend, Renu, and her mother. Ultimately, she embarks on a soul-searching journey to Kashmir, leaving Raja engrossed in his latest project. Raja's new cinematic venture is a biopic of Gautam Buddha, and the hunt for a young boy to portray the divine character is underway. He stumbles upon Abhirup Mitra, a school-going boy with a face that mirrors the innocence of the revered figure. Raja introduces Abhirup to the film's producer, Vikram, and the rest of his crew, including the bewitching Anjali, who harbors a secret affection for Raja. However, beneath the surface of this seemingly ordinary film project, a sinister secret lurks. Unbeknownst to Vikram, Anjali, and the crew, Raja finds himself entangled in a web of suspicion and accusation, as he becomes the prime suspect in the mysterious abduction of young Abhirup. The plot thickens as the lines blur between the reel and real-life drama unfolding around them.
