In the vibrant city of Mumbai, the life of Police Inspector Shekhar Varma, a devoted husband to Meena and a doting father, takes a sinister turn. When the police department receives an ominous call revealing that Editor Ritesh Nandy, who has stumbled upon damning evidence against some powerful figures, is now under threat, the world begins to change for Shekhar and his family. Despite the police protection assigned, Ritesh meets a tragic end.
