Plot
Within the heart of the struggling Royal Circus, managed by Govindan and his right-hand man Khader, exists a vibrant community of performers. Despite the company's financial woes, a strong bond of love and camaraderie binds this eccentric family together. Among them is the tragically enigmatic Abookka, a former clown now lost in the mists of madness, his laughter silenced yet his spirit undeterred as he insists on donning his vibrant makeup and stepping into the ring from his cage.
Babu, the troupe's beloved clown, trained under Abookka's tutelage, masterfully conceals his sorrows behind a perpetually smiling mask. A stalwart fixture of the Royal Circus since his youth, Babu nurtures the younger performers, especially Kamala, Govindan's daughter. Propelled by a longstanding promise from Govindan and a hidden affection for Kamala, Babu dreams of inheriting the circus and uniting with Kamala in marriage.
However, the arrival of Sudheer Misra, the ambitious son of a former troupe member, triggers a dramatic shift in the circus's trajectory. Steering the beleaguered troupe out of its crisis, he breathes new life into it, rebranding it as the New Royal Circus. The film's narrative unfolds as a poignant tapestry of dreams, love, and the relentless pursuit of renewal, all set against the colourful backdrop of the circus ring.
