Jiang Hu (2004)

In the merciless realm of the Triads, leader Hung stands at a life-altering crossroad as his wife cradles their newborn son. Contemplating an exit from the perilous world of gangsters, Hung finds his decision, ambiguous as it is, sparking a savage war in the clandestine universe of "jiang-hu". As the word of his possible departure spreads like wildfire, two ambitious thugs, Wing and Turbo, are tasked with the chilling order to eliminate Hung, hoping to etch their names in the annals of gangland infamy. Simultaneously, a silent storm brews within the Triad itself, as a bitter rivalry unravels between Hung and his loyal lieutenant, Left-Hand. Despite their deep-seated respect for each other, they are acutely aware of the lurking threats, the eyes watching greedily for a chance to topple Hung from his throne. Thus, in the shadowy labyrinth of crime and power, alliances blur, loyalty is tested, and a bloody battle commences, all under the watchful, hungry eyes of the "jiang-hu".
