Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story (2001)

“This Time...It's No Fairy Tale.”

Plot

Jack Robinson, a prosperous tycoon with an unquenchable thirst for success, finds himself on the precipice of a family curse that has claimed the lives of his ancestors before their thirtieth year. As his own thirtieth birthday looms, the discovery of an enormous skeleton and the abrupt appearance of an enigmatic woman who alleges an old acquaintance with the giant, throws Jack's life into a spiral of uncertainty. This newfound knowledge catapults Jack into a world beyond his own, where he learns the startling truth behind the beloved tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. His ancestor, the original Jack, isn't the hero of the story, but a greedy man whose mistakes have cast a long, dark shadow over the Robinson line. As the veil lifts, Jack realizes the magnitude of his task. To break the curse and secure his own survival, he must right the wrongs of his ancestor. The magical harp and the goose that lays golden eggs, possessions of the giants, must be returned to their rightful home. In this riveting twist on a classic fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story invites viewers into a world where the line between myth and reality blurs, and redemption might just lie in the most unlikely of places. As Jack grapples with his past and races against time to save his future, you'll be left questioning everything you thought you knew about this timeless tale.
