In the darkest hour of World War II, as the Nazis unleash their invasion across France and the low countries, Winston Churchill ascends to the formidable role of Prime Minister. His immediate challenge is the perilous fate of the British Expeditionary Force, cornered against the sea and seemingly doomed. Yet, in a miraculous act of bravery, the majority are rescued in a daring evacuation at Dunkirk.
