Caught in the crossfire of his artistic passion and his father's pragmatic aspirations, Neal Oliver, a young and bewildered artist, finds his life taking an unexpected detour. His father dreams of seeing him stride through the hallowed halls of Oxford, but Neal's heart yearns to paint his own path. His world shifts on its axis when he crosses paths with the enigmatic O.W. Grant, a man who grants one wish per person as his name intriguingly suggests. Seized by a thirst for clarity, Neal wishes for answers. He finds himself journeying down the phantom Interstate 60, a highway that defies the conventions of maps and reality, leading to the elusive town of Danver.
