In the labyrinthine world of Los Angeles law enforcement, earnest detective Raymond Avila embarks on a new assignment in the most reviled division of the LAPD - the Internal Affairs Division (IAD). Alongside his sharp-witted partner, Amy Wallace, Raymond finds himself scrutinizing the conduct of his fellow officers, a task that sets him apart from his brethren in blue. The duo's first case unravels a web of intrigue around Van Stretch, a fellow officer with whom Raymond shares a past dating back to their academy days.
