In the sultry heat of Acapulco, the charming Valentin (Eugenio Derbez) is renowned as a charismatic playboy, leaving a trail of romances in his wake. His carefree existence takes an unexpected turn when a baby girl, the result of a fleeting fling with an American woman named Julie, is left on his doorstep. With the mother mysteriously vanished, Valentin embarks on a journey to Los Angeles, the infant cradled in his arms, hoping to find Julie and restore balance to his once frivolous life. In the city of stars, Valentin stumbles into an unexpected career as a Hollywood stuntman, a profession as daring and unpredictable as his own life. As he ascends the adrenaline-fueled ranks of the film industry, his little girl, Maggie (Loreto Peralta), blossoms by his side, providing him with emotional support and on-set coaching, their bond deepening with every passing year. Over the six-year span, Valentin, once a playboy of Acapulco, transforms into a devoted father, his life now intricately intertwined with his daughter's.
