Plot

In the labyrinthine streets of Bombay, where dreams and despair intersect, three vastly different men, enmeshed in their personal struggles, are drawn together by an inscrutable secret that will forever alter their destinies. Amjad, a solitary ex-cop turned auto-rickshaw driver, is consumed by his relentless quest for vengeance and a haunting personal loss. His heart is ossified with pain, impervious even to the devoted love of Meghna. He ceaselessly navigates the bustling city streets, his eyes scanning the sea of humanity in a desperate search for his long-lost brother Azhar. His love for Hina is his futile attempt to veil his agonizing sorrow, yet how can one truly numb the ache of such profound loss? Simultaneously, the city of dreams lures Avinash Kapoor and Indu with its tantalizing promise of glamor, fame, and wealth. Both are fuelled by a shared ambition - to bask in the limelight as film stars. However, instead of the glittering success they envisaged, they find each other. Their aspirations intertwine, shaping a unique bond in this city of illusions. Unbeknownst to them, their worlds are about to collide with Ajit Rathor's, creating a triad of destinies linked by an astonishing secret. This revelation will challenge the very essence of their humanity, forcing them to grapple with a spectrum of emotions - hate, sorrow, despair, love, pain, ambition, hope - that define their existence. As they teeter on the brink, they must fight to retain their humanity, to remain 'Insaan'. In a startling twist, a prodigal son returns home. Munna, now Azhar Khan, resurfaces in the lives of Amjad and his mother, inciting joyous celebrations. Yet, beneath the familial joy lurks a sinister reality. Azhar is a member of a Jihaadi terrorist group, exploiting his unsuspecting brother and mother as a façade for a harrowing terrorist attack. 'Insan' weaves together a complex narrative of interconnected lives, personal battles, and dire conspiracies, set against the vibrant backdrop of Bombay. The film explores the strength of human emotions and the lengths individuals will go to protect their loved ones and their own humanity.
