In the whirlwind world of corporate America, Dan Foreman, a 51-year-old seasoned executive, finds his life upended when his company undergoes a brutal restructuring. Stripped of his title as the head of ad sales for a prominent magazine, he's forced to report to Carter Duryea, a business school wunderkind half his age. Carter, a fervent believer in corporate synergy, disruptively cross-promotes the magazine with an assorted snack food and a cell phone division, both residing under the same corporate monolith.
