Deep in the azure heavens, aboard the Peninsula Flight 2549, a mechanical catastrophe threatens the lives of its passengers. The pilots, locked in a tense struggle with their colleagues in the Control Center, wrestle against the imminent danger, searching desperately for a solution. On the other hand, the flight attendants and the chief steward, a colourful montage of atypical, baroque personalities, set aside their personal conundrums, embracing the task of making the journey as delightful as possible for the passengers in the face of impending peril. Life aboard the plane mirrors the complexity of existence on the ground, a swirling cocktail of two potent ingredients - the primal drives of sex and the ominous shadow of death. As the crew members, a diverse collection of bi-sexual and gay individuals grapple with their own intimate issues. Meanwhile, the realization of a possible catastrophic ending dawns on a handful of passengers, prompting some to make heartfelt communications with their loved ones, while others seek solace in the arms of fellow travelers.
