In the heat of a manslaughter charge, Brad McArthur enlists the services of Clint Reynolds, a cunning press agent, to help recast his tarnished reputation as a compassionate philanthropist. A calculated move sees Brad adopting Bobby, an endearing orphan newsboy, an act that unexpectedly results in a genuine bond between them.
