Plot

In the sun-scorched expanses of Arizona, the movie 'Hurt' unfurls the somber tale of the Coltrane family, reeling from the abrupt demise of their patriarch, Robert. Once accustomed to a life of privilege, the family's matriarch, Helen, and her adolescent children, Conrad and Lenore, find themselves seeking solace in the arms of an unlikely haven — their reclusive uncle Darryl's decrepit desert dwelling. As the Coltranes grudgingly adapt to their new reality, a peculiar twist of fate introduces them to Sarah — a beautiful, yet deeply troubled foster child that Robert had promised sanctuary. As Sarah becomes a part of their lives, the family's sorrow morphs into an unsettling dread, as a series of inexplicable, ominous events begin to plague them, casting a grim shadow over their existence. Forced to reside in their uncle's salvage yard, the Coltranes soon find themselves entangled in a labyrinth of secrets that threatens to unravel the very fabric of their lives. 'Hurt' offers a riveting exploration of grief, fear, and the haunting specter of a family secret that looms ominously, blurring the line between the past and the present, reality and the inexplicable.
