Plot

Nestled in the heart of Seattle, we find Ben and Anna, a young couple deeply in love, painting a picture of the quintessential "white picket fence" lifestyle. As they venture into the realm of parenthood, their tranquil existence is disrupted by the sudden arrival of Andrew, Ben's free-spirited college buddy. Andrew, an artist, lives his life on a whim, traversing the globe with no more than his creativity and a taste for the unknown. His unexpected visit to Seattle is a quest to rekindle the bond with Ben, whom he's barely seen since his wedding. As Andrew bypasses the opportunity to acquaint himself with suburban life, he drags Ben into a whirlwind of artistic chaos, introducing him to a vibrant community of artists. Amidst the intoxicating fumes of creativity and alcohol at an artist's party, they stumble upon a peculiar festival - Hump Fest, an amateur porn festival. Fuelled by the thrill of the night, Ben and Andrew make a daring decision - to create their own film for the festival, an artistic exploration of two ostensibly straight men engaging in a sexual act, the subjects being themselves. It's not quite gay, it's not quite porn; it's an art project that blurs the boundaries of heteronormativity and challenges their own self-perceptions. While Andrew embraces the "Kerouac" within him, Ben starts to question his "white picket fence" existence. However, as the haze of the night lifts in the sober light of day, they must confront the reality of their audacious decision. Will they still have the courage to follow through? And if they do, what does this mean for Anna, Ben's wife, who remains oblivious to their plans? This daring tale of friendship, self-discovery, and challenging societal norms will keep viewers captivated as they navigate the complexities of love, art, and sexuality.
