Plot

In the bustling heart of an unassuming Chinese restaurant, House of Luk, three men find themselves on the brink of transformative journeys. This unique, heartwarming drama unravels the tangled threads of their lives, spun by fate and served with a side of fortune cookies. At the helm of these interconnected tales is Marshall Cotton, a struggling salesman with a knack for selling everything - except what matters. His life is a collage of missed opportunities, including the loss of his ex-wife. In the same story-spinning mix is Ho Fook Lao, a hapless Feng Shui consultant drowning in life's discord. His world takes a turn when he stumbles upon the woman of his dreams, only to find she isn't interested in men. Lastly, there's Chuck Warden, a builder burdened with a silent mother and aloof son. Yearning for familial harmony, he stumbles upon a unique method to express his love. The one to guide these lost souls is the Buddha-like Kwang Luk, the restaurant's enigmatic owner. His wisdom is concealed within fortune cookies' cryptic messages, which hold the potential to change the course of their lives. House of Luk is not just a restaurant; it's a haven where life is served with a dash of humor, a sprinkle of love, and a generous helping of insight. As these men grapple with their predicaments, they also discover the true essence of their lives through laughter, love, and the crunch of fortune cookies. The House of Luk stands as a testament to the power of chance meetings, shared meals, and the wisdom found in unexpected places, proving that sometimes, all one needs is a change in fortune and a good meal. Will their "luk" take a turn for the better? The answer lies within the walls of the House of Luk.
