Honeymoon Hotel (1964)

When Jay Menlow is unexpectedly left standing alone at the altar by his betrothed, Cynthia Hampton, his quick-thinking friend, Ross Kingsley, swoops in with an unusual plan. Ross persuades the heartbroken Jay to exchange his shattered nuptial dreams for an alternative adventure at the Boca Roca Hotel, a sanctuary exclusively for honeymooners that he'd booked in anticipation of wedded bliss. Ross, however, is not purely driven by the spirit of friendship. His own secrets - a clandestine affair with Sherry Nugent, the provocative girlfriend of his boss, Mr. Sampson - makes a timely escape from New York enticing. He envisages a brief hiatus from the city and his increasingly suspicious employer. Yet, as fate would have it, the web of deception stretches further when Mr. Sampson appears at the hotel, hot on their heels. His curious wife, eager to uncover the truth behind her husband's so-called 'business' trips, is not far behind, adding further layers of complication to their tangled escapade. The plot thickens as they devise strategies to navigate the hotel's stringent 'no bachelors allowed' rule.
