Plot
High school student Takashi Komuro witness the beginning of a zombie outbreak. This occurs at the front gate of his school. After witnessing the situation unfold, he attempts to warn friends Hisashi and Rei. Classmates and teachers start to turn into zombies and attack survivors without warning.
Hisashi is bitten and killed by Takashi. From there, Takashi and Rei join with a group of survivors and flee the school. They must contend with the zombie outbreak across all parts of Japan and survive until they can find refuge. The group will soon discover that threats come from humans and zombies alike.
