Plot

In the heart of Peerless Manor resides its master swordsman, Ying Ke-Feng, a guardian of a valuable 200,000-tael silver convoy headed to the capital annually. However, this year a debilitating ailment cripples his sword-wielding hand, threatening not only the precious cargo but his esteemed reputation. Determined to avert this crisis, Ying entrusts the mission to two young knights under his wing, Hsiang Ting and his betrothed, Yun Piao-Piao - a couple united by their shared passion for the blade. At the Manor, a palpable air of suspicion hangs heavy, with rumors of potential threats to the silver transport. The arrival of Le I, a seemingly destitute stranger with a majestic steed, only stokes these suspicions further. Hsiang Ting, wary of the newcomer, suspects Le I to be a spy from their adversary, the Flying Tiger Manor. This tension escalates when Le I and Yun Piao-Piao strike an immediate rapport, further muddled by Le I's heroic feat of rescuing Yun from a Flying Tiger goon. Caught in a whirlwind of loyalty and unexpected alliances, Yun Piao-Piao is torn. However, a sense of sisterhood prevails, leading her to reunite Le I with his cherished steed. As the silver convoy traverses past a pagoda, a den of the Flying Tiger gang, their chief, Chiao Hung, makes his move to seize the shipment. In the face of this peril, Hsiang and Le I must set aside their animosity and forge an unlikely alliance to safeguard their charge.
