Affluent patriarch Seth Amirchand (Kader Khan) finds his life dominated by two burdensome dilemmas—his mischievous, good-for-nothing sons, Sonu (Sanjay Dutt) and Monu (Govinda). Their days are consumed by comedic attempts to wheedle money out of their long-suffering father, resorting to every trick, threat, and ruse in their playful arsenal. In a desperate attempt to rein in their antics, Amirchand plans to separate them, dispatching Sonu to the sun-soaked shores of Goa, while Monu is left to handle business in bustling Bombay. In Goa, Sonu crashes an upscale party belonging to the Verma family, led by the stern Gulzarilal (Anupam Kher), his spinster sister Santho (Aruna Irani), and his two eligible daughters, the stunning Pooja (Pooja Batra) and vivacious Ritu (Karisma Kapoor). Sonu, in his audacious charm, vows to win Pooja's hand in marriage, enlisting Monu to pose as his respectable uncle. However, as Monu steps into this deception, he finds himself falling for the enchanting Ritu, while unbeknownst to him, Santho also harbors a quiet affection for him. The plot thickens when the menacing underworld don, Bhai (Ashish Vidyarthi), demands a hefty sum from Amirchand. Misinterpreting this as yet another prank by his sons, Amirchand dismisses Bhai with mockery and scorn, unaware of the deadly repercussions this could trigger. As Bhai swears vengeance for this public humiliation, the family comes to a grim realization – their harmless pranks may have unwittingly opened the door to a world of peril.
