In the vibrant underbelly of the punk music scene, Hard Core Logo, a once dynamic fringe band, finds its members standing on the precipice of a reunion, five years after a stormy disbandment. Originally formed in 1978 and disbanded in 1991, the group is drawn back together for what is thought to be a one-off benefit concert for frontman Joe Dick's musical luminary, Bucky Haight. Haight, a charismatic figure who lost his legs in a tragic shooting incident, instigates a nostalgic revival for the band. However, the reunion stirs up more than just old tunes, as past differences and conflicts bubble to the surface, primarily revolving around their former manager Ed Festus and the two strong-willed frontmen, Joe Dick and Billy Tallent. The band decides to brave these internal storms and embarks on a potentially cathartic concert tour across western Canada. Amid the tumultuous reunion, Bruce McDonald, a documentary filmmaker, trails the band, capturing their journey of reconciliation and possible revival. His unflinching lens exposes the raw emotions and old wounds that might still be festering among the band members. The spotlight threatens to ignite the rivalry between Joe, the band's true leader, and Billy, who appears to have a promising future post-Hard Core. As the band journeys through the highs and lows of their reunion tour, the charismatic Joe Dick strives to hold everything together, battling the inevitable tensions and pitfalls of life on the road. It's a harrowing, last-gasp tour that tests their bonds and challenges their resolve. Will they crumble under the pressure, or will the road-trip serve as a crucible, forging them anew?
