Plot

In the ominous aftermath of a fierce tempest, we find our protagonist, Ali, marooned on a bleak, uninhabited shoreline, his body wracked with illness and confusion. Pursuit is not far behind, and he must press on. In his plight, he encounters Ivan, a resident of the Cuban soil, who ushers him into the humble abode of his sister, Manuela—a dancer breathing life into the vibrant streets of Havana. Initially wary, Manuela hesitates to harbor this distressed stranger, yet she finds herself inexplicably drawn to this enigmatic wanderer who has stumbled upon her threshold. Haunting Ali are the chilling tremors of nightmares, seamlessly transporting him back to the terror of the Guantanamo interrogation chamber, and uncanny visions that interweave the threads of his past and present existence. However, the question remains—do these nightmares hold the heart-wrenching truth of Ali's past in the prison's cold clutches, or are they merely the fever dreams of a tormented soul? As the story unfolds, the boundaries between reality and illusion blur, immersing us in a captivating journey of discovery and redemption.
