Plot

Griffin, a divorced man navigating life in a Manhattan apartment, is far removed from the family he once knew, who now reside in a Westchester home. His world spirals further when his oncologist delivers a devastating verdict - cancer has invaded his chest, leaving him with a mere year to live. Seeking solace, Griffin enrolls in a death and dying psychology class at a local college. Here, he encounters Phoenix, an enigmatic assistant dean with an elusive smile. Drawn to her, he attempts to bridge their gap, but keeps his impending fate a secret. Phoenix, however, gradually warms to Griffin, unaware of his circumstances. A chance visit to his apartment leads her to a collection of books centered on death, dying, and terminal illness. Will she connect the dots and unveil Griffin's secret? And if she does, how will it reshape the blossoming bond between them? Griffin & Phoenix is a poignant journey of two souls intersecting at the crossroads of life and death, their story a testament to the unpredictable turns of fate and the power of connection.
