Plot

In a humble Texas border town, Charlie, a charismatic car salesman by day, dons the vibrant mask of a Lucha libre wrestler named "Green Ghost" by night. But this dual existence takes a dramatic turn when menacing figures descend upon the town, seeking an ethereal emerald. Suddenly, Charlie finds himself imbued with extraordinary powers, his mundane life taking on the hue of the supernatural. In the midst of this chaos, the enigmatic Master Gin emerges, guiding Charlie on a path of martial enlightenment. He reveals to Charlie a clandestine destiny intricately woven with his own. Alongside his childhood companion Marco and Marco's sister, under the stewardship of the wise La Nana, Charlie is part of the "triad of light," a secret cadre of heroes chosen to guard the fate of humanity. Their formidable adversary, Drake, embodies the ominous Mayan apocalypse, a prophecy misunderstood by scholars and inaccurately forecasted for 12/21/12. As Drake activates a celestial stargate within the heart of a Mexican pyramid, he seeks to wield its power to annihilate humankind. The fate of the world hinges on the unassuming Charlie, whose destiny is tethered to the mystical emerald. Now, Charlie must transcend his ordinary existence and embrace his newfound identity. From the local TV personality and car salesman to an integral part of El Trio de la Luz, he must evolve. The question lingers - will he shoulder the weight of his destiny and morph from the unassuming Gringo into the heroic Green Ghost? Humanity's survival depends on this transformation. The tale of the true Mayan Apocalypse unfolds, and the world watches with bated breath.
