Plot

Excitement dances in the air as Betty Boop and young Junior press their faces against the apartment window, their eyes sparkling at the sight of a vehicle heralding the arrival of the carnival. The car's painted side teases a promise of joy - 'Today only and also all week!' Eager anticipation fills their voices as they sing about the thrilling time awaiting them at the carnival. However, just as they step out into the world, the skies open up, unleashing a thunderstorm that threatens to wash away their dreams of outdoor merriment. But all hope isn't lost when Prof. Grampy, a fellow resident of the building, hears Junior’s fiery tantrum. Donning his signature thinking cap, Grampy delves into a world of creative problem-solving. The glowing light bulb atop his cap flickers to life, signaling the birth of a brilliant idea. With an uncanny knack for fashioning whimsical inventions from the mundane, Grampy conjures up a carnival within their confines. Household objects - a seltzer bottle, a washtub, a trashcan, a tabletop - transform into carnival games and exhilarating rides, drawing the apartment dwellers into an impromptu indoor fiesta. The grand finale arrives when Grampy, in a stroke of genius, morphs the building's fire escapes into a thrilling roller coaster, proving that joy can be found even in the most unanticipated of places.
