In the bustling heart of New York, Neil Klugman, a self-reliant Jewish librarian, encounters the enchanting Brenda Patimkin, a pampered Jewish American Princess deeply entrenched in the affluent world her parents have meticulously crafted for her. Their chance encounter sparks a magnetic attraction that transcends the boundaries of their vastly contrasting worlds. Neil, opting to live with his Jewish aunt in New York rather than with his parents in Arizona, values his independence, while Brenda thrives in the opulent embrace of her well-off family.
