Golmaal Returns (2008)

In the vibrant chaos of Golden Fisheries, we meet Gopal – a dedicated employee entangled in the web of his wife Ekta's relentless suspicions, fueled by her addiction to daytime TV soaps. Ekta, convinced of Gopal's infidelity, launches into an investigation that stirs up a whirlwind of comedic mishaps, dragging in her unwitting brother Lucky, a hair-stylist with little more than air in his head, and Esha, Gopal's sister and the lovestruck admirer of Inspector Madhav Singh Ghai. One fateful night, Gopal rescues the enigmatic Meera from a gang of goons, and they find themselves marooned on a yacht till dawn. To veil the truth from the ever-suspicious Ekta, Gopal weaves a tale involving a nonexistent friend, Anthony Gonsalves. Laxman, a newcomer at Golden Fisheries, is roped into the farce, posing as Anthony to preserve Gopal's fabricated alibi. However, the plot thickens deliciously when the real Anthony Gonsalves steps onto the scene and Gopal discovers that Meera is none other than Laxman's girlfriend. As if these theatrical twists weren't enough, Inspector Madhav connects Gopal to a nearby murder on the same night he was on the yacht. The victim? A fellow employee at Golden Fisheries whom Gopal had threatened to kill. Thus begins a spiraling series of uproarious events that lead to Gopal's arrest for a crime he didn't commit, plunging our characters into a maelstrom of misunderstandings, mistaken identities, and a murder mystery that will keep you guessing till the very end.
