Plot

In the shadow of an unspoken catastrophe, the world as we know it ceases to exist. The once vibrant pulse of the city now echoes only through abandoned buildings and vacant streets, a haunting testament to what once was. No adults remain, all lost to the global catastrophe, leaving behind a community of teenagers and children. These young survivors, bereft of guidance, morph into a contemporary embodiment of the 'Lord of the Flies', their world a distorted reflection of the past. The reins of this dystopian society lay in the hands of Caleb, a former high school jock (Patrick Schwarzenegger, SCOUTS GUIDE TO THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE). His rule, backed by a group of erstwhile athletes, is iron-fisted and unchallenged, introducing a new hierarchy of power. However, amidst this bleak desolation, Josh (Jacob Lofland, MUD), and Jessie (Sophie Kennedy Clark, PHILOMENA) dare to question the status quo. In the face of their grim reality, they embark on a perilous journey into the unknown, driven by the desperate need to find family and the glimmer of hope for a brighter future. Their daring mission doesn't go unnoticed; Caleb and his ruthless sidekick Gentry (James Bloor, LEATHERFACE) are hot on their trail. The narrative of 'Go North' (2017) unfolds in this stark landscape, a tale of survival, courage, and the enduring human spirit against overwhelming odds. It's a world where the rules are rewritten, laws are self-enforced, and the struggle for power can determine life or death. While some are content to merely survive, others, like Josh and Jessie, dare to dream of a better tomorrow.
