Gingerbread Miracle (2021)

Maya, an independent attorney, finds herself dwelling in an apartment perched atop her parents' garage after an unfortunate twist of fate. She transforms the warm, fragrant confines of Casillas Panadería, a cherished Mexican bakery, into her makeshift office. This place holds a special place in her heart, as it's where she spent her teenage years working alongside her first love, Alejandro "Alex" Casillas, the charming nephew of the bakery's owner. When the bakery's future hangs in the balance, Alex's uncle turns to Maya for help in selling it. This pulls Alex back to his roots, prompting him to spend one final nostalgia-laden Christmas in the bakery. As he assists Maya in her quest to find a suitable buyer, a tasteful blend of past affections and present disagreements begins to unfold. Yet, the question remains: will Maya appreciate his assistance, or will it just add a pinch of chaos to her already complicated life?
