In the harsh wilderness of Canada, 1815, the world of sisters Ginger and Brigitte is capsized, quite literally, when a boat accident claims the lives of their parents. Stranded and lost amidst the dense, foreboding forest, they cross paths with a mystic Indian seer. He hints at an ominous fate that awaits the sisters, casting a shadow of dread over their futures.
