Plot

In the surreal realm of "Ghosts Before Breakfast," a Dadaist masterpiece, a whimsical dance of bizarre images unfolds, bound together by the curious journey of four levitating bowler hats that routinely morph into unexpected shapes. Against the incessant march of a ticking clock, a plethora of eccentric sights emerge. A man's bow-tie springs to life, flitting about with a mind of its own, while a shooting range shapeshifts restlessly, its target oscillating from traditional concentric circles to a revolving human head. A hypnotic pattern of firearms emerges, while a band of men, seemingly in search of the unknown, navigates the surreal landscape. The film flits between a water hose spool, fluctuating window panes, and an odd group of people who manage to vanish behind a slim pole. A blossoming branch, alternating perspectives of men's faces and women's napes, male legs in an array of peculiar movements, men engaged in a nebulous conflict, and decaying smiles populate this dreamscape. This orchestrated chaos unfurls before the day's first meal, culminating in the bowler hats finding their ultimate destinations. The film's title, "Ghosts Before Breakfast," hints at the paradoxical world where the nonsensical takes precedence, and the mundane is drenched in mystery and absurdity.
