Ghostland (2018)

Two adult women are still coming terms to their childhood trauma, albeit in different ways. When their mother inherited a home from a family member, they spent one terrifying night trying to survive a home invasion. Younger daughter Beth grew up to be a successful horror novelist, and her latest book is about the incident in question. And while she hasn't visited with her family as much as she'd like, she heeds the call when they tell her they need her help. Vera has become paranoid and withdrawn, but it's hard to discount the strange occurrences that are happening in the house.
