Ghost Patrol (1936)

Braving the harsh desert country, G-Man Tim Caverly is on a mission to unravel the mystery behind a series of unexplained airplane crashes. These were no ordinary planes, but carriers of immense wealth, transporting money, bonds, and other valuables. Yet, they lay scattered in the desert sands, their treasures plundered by unknown villains. At the heart of these incidents is the brilliant but captive Professor Brent, father to the resolute heroine, Natalie Brent. Forced to use his invention, a potent radium tube that can manipulate electrical impulses, the Professor is the unwilling puppet of a ruthless mob led by the cunning duo Dawson and Kincaid. Their nefarious plot - to use this invention to bring down planes, raid the wreckage, and amass wealth. Tim's investigation takes an unexpected turn when he is mistaken for a notorious outlaw. Seizing the opportunity, he assumes this identity, worming his way into the criminal world to become Dawson's partner and sabotage their plan from within. However, just as reinforcements are set to arrive by plane, his true identity is revealed. Held captive, Tim must watch as Dawson coerces the Professor into activating his destructive machine. As the plane carrying his much-needed help descends towards the deadly desert, Tim must devise a daring plan to save the day. In "Ghost Patrol", the dusty plains and the unforgiving skies become the stage for a thrilling game of deception and survival, where fortunes can be made or lost with the crash of a plane.
