Ghayal Once Again (2016)

In the aftermath of a life sentence, Ajay Mehra, the protagonist from the previous Ghayal, emerges from the shadows of his haunted past to establish a newspaper, Satyakam. His journalistic endeavors, coupled with a unique investigative team comprising of former criminals, RTI activists, and an array of unconventional truth-seekers, quickly earn him the admiration of the youth, who find his unyielding and fearless approach in dealing with societal wrongdoers inspiring. Among Ajay's ardent followers are four brave teenagers, who once received medals of courage from him. These young friends inadvertently record a shocking murder while on a photography expedition, igniting a fuse that threatens to blow the city's power structure apart. The footage reveals the city's most influential figures implicated in the heinous crime, spiraling the quartet into a deadly cat-and-mouse game with the city's ruthless elite. Meanwhile, Ajay is grappling with his own demons, struggling with the trauma of losing his loved ones under the guidance of Dr. Riya. Parallel to this, Joe Dsouza, a retired officer-turned-RTI activist and Ajay's close ally, is suspiciously killed. The same quartet of college students who are now embroiled in their own fight for justice, had unknowingly captured Dsouza's murder during their college project, further implicating Kabir Bansal, the progeny of industrialist Raj Bansal, and the city's Home Minister. As Raj Bansal catches wind of the incriminating evidence, he dispatches his henchmen to extinguish the young lives holding the city's darkest secrets. Now, it's up to Ajay to protect them, bring the evidence to light, and deliver justice not just for his fallen friend Dsouza, but also for a city teetering on the brink of chaos.
