Get Squirrely (2015)

When Frankie, a cunning squirrel with a knack for mischief, escapes a rehabilitation zoo, he returns to the comfort of his forest home. However, he soon discovers from his bumbling but loyal best friend, Cody, a street-smart porcupine, that their forest has been ravaged by The A.C.O.R.N.S. Institute. This organization, an alternative cosmetic company, has stripped the forest bare of acorns, leaving the woodland population on the brink of starvation with winter looming ominously over them. To save his forest family, Frankie must infiltrate the heavily fortified, rodent-proof A.C.O.R.N.S. Processing Plant and reclaim their precious acorns. Alongside the life-saving mission, Frankie also yearns to mend his broken relationship with his former flame, Lola, a glamorous "show squirrel", who has grown weary of his hollow promises. Guided by Frankie's seasoned mentor, Mr. Bellwood, a prosperous badger, Frankie and Cody gather a band of exceptional forest "crackers" to aid them in their perilous quest. Their eclectic crew comprises of Fly Boy, a bat and munitions mastermind; Raitch, an albino snake with unparalleled computer hacking skills; Edsy, a diminutive frog with a peculiar ability to freeze solid; Liam, a neurotic French rat with a collapsible skeleton; Pango and Lin, a father-daughter pangolin duo who are the forest's finest diggers; and Oscar, Bellwood's resourceful hedgehog butler. With the chill of winter knocking on their door and a mere three days to plan and execute their daring rescue, Frankie and his team are thrown into a race against time. The situation takes a dramatic turn when the acorn processing date is moved up, and Lola, holding onto her past disappointments, refuses to join the mission. Despite being a critter short, Frankie and his intrepid team of Animal Crackerz are determined to pull off the most audacious heist in animal history, risking everything for their forest home.
