Plot

In the bustling world of high school hierarchy, basketball star Berke Landers finds himself blindsided when his childhood sweetheart, Allison, abruptly ends their relationship. His heartache intensifies as Allison quickly moves on with Striker, an audacious singer with a flair for the dramatic. Unbeknownst to Berke, this heartbreak sets the stage for an unexpected journey into the world of theatre. When Allison and Striker audition for the school's spirited rendition of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Berke decides to follow suit. This surprising move is met with bewilderment by his basketball comrades, Felix and Bentley, but Berke is undeterred. Stepping out of his comfort zone and into the spotlight, Berke unexpectedly lands one of the lead roles. His theatrical transformation is partly driven by the influence of Felix's sister, Kelly, who becomes his unexpected ally and guide in this strange, new world. As the First Night looms, the drama intensifies. Questions hang in the air like unspoken lines - will the rivalry between Berke and Striker escalate into a showdown? Can Berke's friend, Dennis, step up as the lead dancer? And in the midst of it all, could Kelly be the one to mend Berke's broken heart? "Get Over It" is a vibrant, high-spirited tale of heartbreak, friendship, and self-discovery, loosely inspired by Shakespeare's classic. It's a story that explores the trials of first love, the thrill of new experiences, and the surprising paths that heartbreak can lead us down.
