In the heart of the Polynesian paradise, Malau, marine biologist Jack Ellway and his young son Brandon find themselves swept into a whirlpool of mystery and danger. Drawn by the intriguing effects of recent seismic disturbances on local marine life, their scientific expedition soon morphs into an unexpected adventure. Alongside the island's compassionate doctor Alyson Hart, they find themselves tangled in a web of unexplained drownings that shroud the island in fear.
